My girlfriend and I just spent 3 days skiing at Tremblant. All of the people associated with skiing from the chair lift people to the ski patrol people were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the two that gave my girlfriend the confidence to get down a hill she followed me on. The beginner slopes are fantastic for beginners and with their length and they never feel busy other then at the very top. All three days the hills were great in the morning and only some became a bit rough in the later day. The icy areas were minimal and to me even as a relative beginner were a non issue as most of the patches were avoidable. I skied most of the blues which I thought were great, my girlfriend who is very cautious after skiing down toboggan where there were some icy sections was quite content on the greens. If you are a relatively new skier the Nansen and the rest of the greens off of it are all great, cut off at mt chemin and you pick up a couple of other nice greens. on the other side of the mountain is le petit boneur which leads down the north side and has fantastic views. Algonquin which is on the soliel side was not yet open but is highly recommended this was where we were hoping to get to when we ended up on toboggan. As for the blues I recommend trying them all I didn't come across any I didn't enjoy. As for the blacks sorry no help here I was with my girlfriend however some of the parts I could see from the lifts looked very doable. The lineups on the north side were a bit long on the weekend but were okay on the Friday. All in, Tremblant is 5 star. The people the mountain, the shops and the hotels. As for our experience My girlfriend and I skied three times last season one of them was Tremblant in April prior to that it was 10 years for her and 39 for me so experts we are not.
