So you start with summit, a green hill with multiple fall lines and a grade that's too steep for beginners. then you have buttermilk that starts off at a excellent beginner grade then drops like off quickly giving low level intermediates a drastic change in skiing, peters pride s a nice run when they don't have terrain park features with blind landings where the normal skier turn across to control their speed. North Bowl is a good advanced hill sometimes has a mogul field up at the top, they're usually hard as a rock. Croyle is the best hill for the advanced skier at the resort, but it's usually being raced on. Tiger is like the the Melt Challenge, it looks awesome, you want to prove yourself, you don't really enjoy it, and everyone kinda looks at you like oh you're that guy. so besides the hill they're the lodge, it's old, it's warm, its comforting, it's lined with tables from an elementary school covered in ski bags, and clothes left by people skiing to hold a table the whole day. My HS ski club goes there on Tuesdays, it's not that bad during the week but on the weekends it's a mad house. my uncle was in ski club before they sold to Peak resorts and told me how they would make snow as soon as they could, and open as early as possible, and now, they have the GM on the morning of 11/13 right before Cleveland gets pounded with cold weather and tons of snow saying its a weather phenomena, a week later it's still cold, and the warm up is 50 deg. highs for 2 days with rain starting 2 days from now, do you have any idea how much snow you can make in 9 day with temperatures that are always below 20 degrees? I would estimate enough to cover the whole resort in about 18-24" of base because I've seen them do it the week before Christmas last year. and that's counting the 6" of snow they already have.
