Groomers were compact. Some powder off the sides of the trails. Few people, no lines.

Pajarito was great today. Amazing snow, powder, and beautiful. One negative - Townsite lift was pretty awful. It kept stopping, and I mean every 2 minutes, for no apparent reason. If it's going to take 25 minutes to ride the lift, why ski Townsite? The wind was not a factor. Anyone who thinks so hasn't skied at a resort with real wind, e.g., Breck or Snowbird.

Only 2 lifts running: Beginner and Aspen. Hard to access more than a handful of runs without skinning.

snow was great, probably more than 10 inches at the top. Fairly light powder. The fact that the Spruce lift is not running is LAME!! This means a lot of the mountain is not accessible and there is a long, flat trip back to the Aspen lift - totally stupid. Not to mention that Townsight lift never operates. I long for the old Pajarito...

Nice day 1/3/2016. Conditions still worth a day in the hill.
