Snow Reporter Comments: Good morning everyone,If you're hitting the slopes this week, you won't be disappointed. The snow has been consistent, grippy, and so much fun. This morning we have overcast skies and cloud cover. The high is 17 degrees at the summit and 20 in the base area.Jack Spratt, Parmalee's, Yeehaw, and the Pine are all skiing very well. If you want ungroomed terrain, head over to Upper and Lower Haggetts, or Upper and Lower Peter's. Fat and Happy still remains ungroomed as well.The Summit Express, Pine Quad, Rabbit Run, and Lil Pine carpet spin from 9:30am to 8pm. The Sunnyside triple is open from 9:30 to 3:30. And the Snow Pine Carpet is open from 9:30 to 3 for lessons.There will be racing happening all week on the Headwall and East slope. We have high school and college teams that you'll see about the lodge and in the lift lines.Tonight we welcome MCCP to our slopes to enjoy an evening of racing to support the Maine Children's Cancer Program. Pleasant Mountain is celebrating their 75th year of skiing and riding in Maine, making it the longest operating Mountian in the state. The mountain has glade skiing in Sherwood Forest for intermediate skiers; advanced skiers can explore the glade areas off the east side. A learning center, conveniently located in front of the base lodge, features a surface lift available at no cost which parents can use to introduce their kids to skiing or boarding without having to buy a lift ticket. Pleasant Mountain offers several on-slope dining options and on and near-slope lodging.
