Snow Reporter Comments: Good morning everyone,If you're hitting the slopes this week, you won't be disappointed. The snow has been consistent, grippy, and so much fun. Overnight we had snow flurries and cloud cover. Snow accumulations are minimal but are enough to freshen up the tops of our trails for first tracks. This morning, we have overcast skies and cloud cover and active snow flurries falling at 8am. The snow surface is velvety for first tracks with the refresh of white gold. Hit it early for some freshies. The high for today is 18 degrees at the summit and 20 in the base area.Groomers were out yesterday evening on the east side trails. They hit the Pine, the Main, and the terrain park at 10pm last night. They will likely finish up on Spratt, Lower Kanc, and Sunset first thing in the morning. Upper and Lower Haggetts as well as Fat & Happy remain ungroomed for those who want some all-natural terrain. The Summit Express, Pine Quad, Rabbit Run, and Lil Pine carpet spin from 8:30am to 8pm. The Sunnyside Triple is open from 8:30 to 3:30. And the Snow Pine Carpet is open from 9:30 to 3 for lessons. On the operational side of things, there will be racing happening all weekend on the Headwall and East slope. The Headwall and East slope will be closed but the Horn will remain open. Racing will conclude by noon both days. Seasonal Programs also meet again this weekend. There's talk in the forecast for another cold front moving in this weekend. So far, temps for Saturday aren't any colder than we've seen all week. It's been good out here. Don't let the cold deter you. Come join us on the slopes.____________________________________If you're planning a visit, be sure to buy your tickets online ahead of time for the best rate.
