This place has it going. Good staff. No lines. New lodge. Cheap tickets. Only thing missing today was freshies. Little sticky and wet but still plenty on lines from left overs from yesterday and Friday. I will be back next storm. Only other this place needs is love from riders

6" from yesterday on top of 12" from earlier in the week. My first time at Soldier and was not disappointed. Not very many trees but open slopes between runs were mostly covered and not too tracked out. Smooth groomers and short lift lines, even for a busy day. Powder was pretty soft. Great day!

We have enjoyed watching the downhill skier's from our little winter wonderland here in Fairfield. What a great time to hit the mountain for some family fun. Expecting more snow this evening.

Blue bird skiing on groomed runs! Had great food in the lodge. This hill is one of Idaho's true hidden gems. Not nearly enough skiers to make the runs crowded. I really love this place!

Went to Soldier for the first time yesterday. Mountain is very nice. The terrain kicks butt. Lifts and facilities are all nice and in good order. The snow conditions are terrible. Awesome new snow followed by warm temperatures have made all the runs solid ice. If you go wear a helmut. Will definately return but only after snow conditions improve.
