Silver Mountain is a great family friendly ski area that appeals to everyone at all levels. It is convenient with the Gondola in Kellogg. It offers amazing views of the Bitteroot Mountain range and the Silver Valley. They are willing to work with people and groups to provide a great overall experience from skiing, snowboarding, swimming, etc. You must give it a try!... Full Review
Love the mountain I’ve skiied most the mountains in area and silver is cheaper has less lines and easier driving. Don’t get me wrong it’s not as nice as other ski mountains but it good and has a great beer selection. ... Full Review
Trying to rent skis here in December 2020 was the least COVID-safe experience I’ve had since COVID started. The rental room was extremely overcrowded, and about half of the customers weren’t wearing masks. There were signs posted that face coverings were required, but no one was enforcing them. It was honestly shocking. We stood as close to the door as possible for as long as possible to be safe but there’s no way I’d come back here. It also took a solid hour to get through the ski rental line even though we reserved them in advance.... Full Review

Silver Mountain is such a gem. Both my kids have had ski/snowboard lessons there, and thrived with the small classes and the great instruction. Silver is such a beautiful mountain, with non-crowded runs.... Full Review
My typical day at Silver Mouutain: 25 minute drive from CDA, via I-90, exit right into gondola parking lot. 20 minutes on gondola to mountain haus. 1st run on long, uncrowded groomer, to top of mountain lift. No line there - 7 minutes to top. 96 trails thereafter, few people. Whole mountain feels like mine. Take a run. Next lift- also no line. Repeat all day. ... Full Review
This is not a glam resort by any means. That's why I love it. Has plenty of terrain, snow quality is high, people are really nice, easy drive on I90, cheap and beautiful. Beats the heck out of the ritz resorts in US...especially Schweitzer! Food and lifts are so so...that's all the bad I can say. Needs "Real" marketing and management to make it top class!... Great little ski hill with very little crowds. Grooming, which I usually don't care about, is terrible. Customer service...terrible. Local scene and bar....amazing. Terrain amazing.
Please don't ever get it together, don't want to turn into the next Vail wannabee Schweizer.... Full Review
