Not what it was twenty years ago. On mountain amenities are really bad and overpriced. Restaurants in town are equally overpriced. Slopes are way too crowded and there is almost no expert terrain. Parking garage is too small and often skiers are forced to park on the road and walk long distances to the lift. They no longer groom during daylight hours so the groomers are in poor condition by early afternoon. The terrain park is one of the worst I’ve ever skied. Much of the on mountain help are not fluent in speaking English.

When I first saw the vastness of the Back Bowls, 6.5 miles wide, just amazing. So big the pow lasts. The Front was so much fun.

Bring your customer support back to the US and train your people. PLEASE!

I love Vail. Always will. If you know where to go, the skiing is mind blowing. Apres at the base is meh but there are many hidden spots where the locals like to party. All around fantastic.

My biggest disappointment is the lift operation. At Winter Park and Copper mountain, they are keeping the lift lines moving by managing the ski surface conditions and the lines and they are friendly. Vail lift operators never speak to you and they do nothing to manage the ice build up around the loading zone. We saw multiple falls of people at the chair loading area in our 2 days there this week. Its ridiculous to have such poor service with the price of tickets.

Local to the Denver area and this remains my favorite resort to ski. Plenty of options on runs and restaurant options are great.

• Some lift lines can be long but that depends on the day.

Plentiful high speed gondola & lift access to a wide variety of groomed runs plus fantastic back bowls.

• Ease of access and no lines during Spring skiing with great conditions

No bad day ever. Born and raised in Denver "57" vintage. Vail has always provided the best skiing experience BAR NONE!
