We are out of towners and love this mountain. We have passes for the large corp. resorts. We ski Monarch at least 2 times a season. Next season will be just purchasing a season pass at Monarch. The mountain itself is great, it has a lot of varied terrain. Last weekend (Dec 6,7, and 8th , 2019) I only saw 4 brown spots (3 of them on Serendipity), the entire mountain has great coverage and to add they make NO snow. All the resort personnel are incredibly nice. The have some great deals on items in the lower store. The parking lot is great, as it is a short walk to put the skis on. It is a really easy mountain to navigate. I am hoping Mirkwood opens soon as that is a real gem for skiers with the ability.
