Freaking awesome! Pretty good snow, a bit wet, and not all the lifts were open. Zero lines. Only gonna get better from here!

Today Jan 1st 2026 Palisades top of Tram 8200 ft 11:02. Snow is great, conditions foggy in places, raining at bottom 6200 at 10:30. 12:20 stopped raining at 6200. No precipitation right now. Carpe diem!

The upper mountain opened as did Base to Base to Alpine with a few runs there. Mountain Run was sweet today; nice grooming! The snow was cold, crunchy and fast. A few places scraped to ice. Just keep your edges sharp. The line for Funitel was fast. Snow is great. Crowds sparse.

Most insane line ever for the funitel. I would estimate a thousand people in line. Wraps all the way through the village, through ktbase bar, behind the base bar and down to chamois!! Snow looks great. Mountain not operationally ready. Understaffed. Need staff to open a mountain. One staff pers...

Snow is great but there are only 2 beginner lifts open. So sad. Palisades would be ashamed.

Unfortunately there is absolutely no snow except for a slight dusting where snow has been made. The heavy rain has washed most of the sparse snow away. It’s is going to be a while before anything is happening here… Sorry!
