Beautiful views of Lake Tahoe
Lack of Snow, Overcrowded, badly managed

Full review

Traveled to Lake Tahoe for the first time over MLK weekend. Ended up skiing only one day because of the extreme lack of snow. The runs that were open were overcrowded. Don’t use your own skis because you will be gliding over some rocks to get to the base village. When we bought our lift tickets they put the wrong date on them, so they didn’t work. It was fixed quickly, but it was one thing after another with the staff on this mountain. Glad I went once to see the beauty of the area, but I won’t be doing it again. Not impressed with Squaw Valley at all.
