I love RED!! The terrain is so fun and the vibes are casual and approachable. You don’t have to worry about big crowds, expensive shops or rude riders. Honestly such a gem.

• Fun terrain, easy to navigate, great apres vibe, kind humans!

Far from major airports but totally worth the trip for serious riders. My favourite mountain bar none.

RED has spoiled me for all other resorts. The massive terrain has something for everyone and you can find powder stashes a week after the last snowfall. It's not uncommon to find yourself alone with just you and your crew on a run. There's super easy access to even more slackcountry terrain including a super affordable pay-per-run cat ski operation from the top of Grey to Mt Kirkup. Even when the snow isn't the greatest, there is plenty of fun terrain to explore and chances are you will find some fresh tracks somewhere on this massive resort. The hostel at the base area is easily the best bang for your buck out of anywhere I have stayed in the past, just a short 2-min walk across the parking lot to the chairlift. This is a true core skier's mountain.

• Great Tree Skiing, Super Short Lift Lines, Friendly Locals, Tons and Tons of Terrain to Explore

One of the best - maybe the best - resort in Canada. Unreal tree skiing, no crowds, great snow, super laid-back vibe with a cool ski town just a 5-min drive down the road w/ a free daily shuttle. Rafters bar is a great throw back to old school ski bars, the base lodge deck is total perfection during spring skiing. The overnight cabins on the backside of the mountain are unreal. This place is hard to beat...

• Incredible tree skiing, advance and expert terrain. Super rad old school vibe with great apres, the town of Rossland is killer too, just down the road.
• Some, but not ample beginner terrain.

Such a cool all-around resort. Great terrain, very inexpensive (especially food and drink on the mountain), lots of snow.

Had a wonderful trip. Rossland is an awesome little town. They had their winter festival while we were there. Great skiing. Nice long runs. A lot of expert terrain. Not much for restaurants, that place is for skiing and riding. Going back!!

• Great expanse of trees, nice steepness you can scare yourself on any double black. Totally cool.
• Old lifts but the staff do a great job. Grabbing the chairs, they work hard.

Superbe domaine pour les bons skieurs et le hors piste. La topographie de la station permet de skier depuis le sommet dans toutes les directions. Chaque run est différent ! Il y a de la forêt aérée à peu près partout et une superbe poudreuse en général. Si vous rêvez de skier dans une neige profonde au milieu de sapins tout blanc Red est fait pour vous :) Par contre si vous voulez faire la fête passez votre chemin l'endroit est paumé.

I drove up from Spokane to take advantage of the freshies! It had just snowed some 55 inches in less than 48 hrs! Singles weren’t allowed because of the risk! I ended up teaming up with some teenagers and started skiing! The most snow I’ve ever skied! Couldn’t even see my skis for most of the day! After lunch I got separated from the group. After a couple more runs & looking at the map, I tried getting down the mtn! Not sure exactly what happened, but I got off the trail and snow was over my head! Luckily I was able to take my skis off and started crawling. Some three hrs later I crawled off the man! I was laying there in a pool of sweet in zero degrees F when an employee walked past me and asked me where I came from? I told him & he responded by saying that the man has been closed for two hrs! Skipped supper, headed to hotel & straight to bed! Would love to go back and hope the resort is able to survive!
