More true vertical drop than Killington!
Killington does not invest in enough into this jewel of the east

Full review

Pico is the best kept secret in Vermont. I have skied all over New England and can honestly say that Pico is hands down the best value too. The true vertical drop from the summit to the base lodge is over 1900 uninterrupted feet. The summit glades on a powder day are the closet to heaven this side of the Mississippi. With true ski in ski out slope side lodging and a great base lodge too you cannot beat the location is you plan to stay. And if you do, check out the Inn at Long Trail for apres ski dinner and drinks rather than wasting time and money on the over priced Killington access road. The only really negative about Pico mountain is that Killington refuses to put any serious money into it.
