I went to the mountain yesterday with my 6 year old son and friends after not being there for 10 years. Used to have a house at the base of Corinthia so was a little taken back to see it as a terrain park but my son and his friend absolutely loved it. There were some experts on it so we also enjoyed watching them. I love mount snow for its varied terrain and have so many memories there. We started at Corinthia, then skied main for a bit before heading to the northface and sunbrook. Wide open trails never disappoint as well as the way the lifts can take you from one area to another. I did miss the music on beartrap though. But northface trails were smooth and cloud nine top end was stunning with the sun and not crowded. Lodge and all the trails on main were not icy except one near the main lift and most of that trail was closed. It was St. Pat's yesterday and sunny and i thought absolutely perfect spring skiing conditions. I am surprised by all the negative reviews on this website. There are however no vaping signs everywhere so my guess is there was a problem that the mountain worked through or perhaps the problem is worse on weekends but all of the attendants and folks in ticketing and food purchase at the top of the mountain and the base were super helpful and friendly especially when i needed help fixing my ticket because i accidentally put it near a credit card. The bluebird express is awesome...and grand summit is fast too getting up to the top. I do miss some of the old perks where St. Pat's and Valentine's day are free days as well as the sit down and serve restaurants open but with covid that is understandable and thankful to be able to make reservations online for a table inside when we wanted one (order food on own and have a table to sit down). We also were glad to get a table out in the sun later in the day. Food was much better than any other ski place we have been all year and excellent variety but as a former passholder miss the indoor dining experience once skiing is done for the day. Hopefully next year covid will end and allow for that. I also need to mention the person working the top lift restaurant was very pleasant and got my son and his friend some water when they needed it most. Sill my favorite mountain in the east. Hopeful I will never experience what some of the reviews say on this site...and look forward to another trip next year.... Full Review

Great mountain for southern Vermont. Various areas to explore. I’d like to see a high speed lift for North Face. Accessible from three lodges and the Moover shuttle. Plenty of fast blues on the main face, decent black diamonds on North Face, a beginners area, and Terrain Parks. Good variety. Grooming could be better and random trails closed. ... Full Review

I understand and share the concerns about mask wearing and social distancing, but today my day pass was taken away by a lift attendant who was very disrespectful, yelling at me that she had warned many times (that was the first lie) when she saw me pulling my mask to wipe my nose. Not happy with that, she also took away the passes of my teenage child and his friend. When I went to complain about it in the office, they first told me that they were going to talk to the lift attendant and call me back. After waiting for 45 minutes, I was told that we wouldn't get our passes back. When I asked the reason for the kids losing their passes they told me that the worker said their masks were down. This was a blatant lie. We drove three hours and did two runs before our passes were stolen. How can it be possible that a shameless lier can ruin a guest's day with total impunity? But there was nothing I could do about it. Not even get a refund! On top of ruining our day, they stole our money.... Full Review

Spent three mid-week days with the family at Mount Snow. Great conditions all three days with grooming really mattering on the last day. Fun for a family. Challenge only really comes with moguls or the big jumps at Carinthia. Bubble lift was a game changer for the cold days. Only 8 or 20 lifts were operating. The halfpipe was closed as was the kiddie terrain part. Those last two items were major selling points for my boys and were closed all three days. ... Full Review

I have never skied in a VT resort this year that had worse Covid-19 protocols. It was a joke and the resort should be reported to the Vermont health board. No one enforced anything. The lines were packed with people not wearing masks. The flow of the lines allowed tons of people to pack in making social distancing impossible. The bathroom stalls did not block off areas to allow for social distancing so bathrooms packed. Given the lines and parking lots, I doubt they reduced capacity. ... Full Review

Mountain was not well maintained for a packed MLK weekend. Saturday snow came too late for grooming efforts but they should have packed down that night so it didn’t blow into the woods with Sunday’s gusts. Lifts are too susceptible to weather/wind, closing often, leaving crowds to gather at base lift area. Not ideal when we should be social distancing. I have been coming to Mt. Snow for years. Disappointed with it now.... Full Review

Been skiing here every year a week at a time in Dec and Feb. You can really tell it is now owned by Vail corporate. Prices up. What used to be GREAT grooming is now garbage. Not much actually open even though plenty of snow. Lots of ice now because of the really poor grooming. What happened to the place? This new management ruined it. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be back . Very sad. ... Full Review

I felt unsafe standing in long lines for lifts. Most lifts were not opportune. Lines to just get on the lines with people standing next to and on top if each otter. Staff near by were powerless to stop people from wearing masks incorrectly or not at all. People were openly drinking beer on line despite signs specifically stating not to eat or drink. Staff said they were told not to do anything about it. No effort to curb a super-spreader event there daily. Someone should shut them down if they can’t enforce the rules put in place for our safety!... Full Review

Mt Snow has a great vibe. Really great terrain for everyone, fantastic snow making and grooming. Family friendly . Terrain is classic New England , well laid out and has as much challenge as one could hope for. Fantastic tree terrain and great side country. Great uphill access as well as backcountry access. I am an avid skier. Ski 50 days plus per year and have skiied all over Vermont and out West. Always love coming back to Mt Snow. Still love skiing Mt Snow after over 20 years.... Full Review

Terrible day! Most lifts down. Some would open for short while, then close back down. Whole mountain was icy. Terrible waste of a day. Got maybe 4 runs in 6 hours! 40 min wait on main lift. They should warn you when you buy tickets.... Full Review
