Overview

Deer Mountain Ski Resort is where skiers and riders go to find the most snowfall in the Black Hills of South Dakota, where over 200 inches of average annual snow falls across the mountain. The mountain boasts an impressive 6,850 foot summit elevation, over 40 skiable mountain trails, and over 850 feet over vertical. Their 33,000 square foot base lodge features a Ski Café and Ski Pub, fireplace, satellite TV and wi-fi internet.

Deer Mountain Ski Resort is permanently closed since 2017. The 150-acre winter sports venue and lodge should reopen on December 1, 2022.
