Just a great local ski area that is great for the family. Very affordable. Staff is just incredible. From Robin in Guest services , Josh in the Restaurant, to the rental shop, everyone is just so helpful and friendly. Trails are very well groomed and buildings are clean. Only complaint is they need some faster lifts.

  • Great local ski area, Very affordable, good all around, staff is #1 for kids
  • Need faster chair lifts

This is our family resort. Great beginner area, fantastic ski school, and fun uphill for dad. fun glades. It's rare to wait for the lift, but when it happens, the T-bar is king; an uphill adventure before the descent. Really love the last quintessential Maine mountain now that pleasant has commercialized.

  • Great price, short lift lines, varied terrain, the T-bar!
  • Needs new main lift or second main lift. Could expand east

I love Mt. Abram in every season.

  • Friendly, helpful staff, not too big for families or beginners

Love Abram

Love this mountain, in winter for skiing & summer for mountain biking. Such a great lesson program, and great fun runs for more advanced skiers. They are so involved in the community and getting local kids on skis. THIS place is what skiing is all about. Mt. Abram has soul.

  • Great snow, family friendly, affordable, great apres, excellent lessons.

This resort is a earth friendly resort mostly solar powered. The many runs allow for a challenging run down the mountain to a relaxing blue run down to the two lodges they offer. Night life in the main lodge is an exciting time to network with fellow skiers over adult beverages. Summer offers mountain bike trails for the beginners to the pros. Both seasons offer safety and protection to the covid-19 issues. Love this hidden gem

  • Earth friendly, family friendly summer and winter
  • To far from Georgia

This mountain has gone above and beyond, both with the Mountain bike trails in the summer, and ski slopes in the winter to stay safe from the Covid-19 pandemic. This earth friendly resort, mostly solar panel energy has proven to be aware of our environmental concerns. I enjoy skiing on the mountains many challenging run to a relaxing blue to the bottom two lodges.

  • Earth Friendly, great slopes, great overall for the price
  • Not in Georgia

This mountain has my heart! Everything is clean, groomed, and the slopes are beautiful! It’s never too crowded so we’ll worth it and the lodge is just like family! I would recommend here before going and paying high prices somewhere else.

  • Affordable / Clean / Good Time

Not-so hidden gem of Maine skiing. When there is fresh snow there is lots of ungroomed powder. Lift lines are always short and you can't beat the ticket price. This place is old school - slower lifts and a no-frills lodge, but for the size and price it's perfect. Definitely worth it to ditch the outrageous prices and overgroomed snow at nearby Sunday River, especially if you're a snowboarder and dislike catwalks.

  • Price, (lack of) grooming
  • Old-school

I've grown up at this mountain, I drive 3 hours every weekend to ski on the race team, free ski with my best buds I've known forever, and rip it up on the terrain park with my snowboard. Most importantly, spend time with my best friends that feel like family. Without Mt.Abram, I don't know what id do, its my escape from reality. All the owners and staff are funny, friendly and just so approachable and do a fantastic job at what they do. Yes, its a small mountain, but thats my favorite part. Everyone is family. I also know that the mountain has great new fun things planned for the next coming years and I would appreciate that everyone would go and give my favorite place a chance. Its my home and my life.

  • super friendly staff, great food, AMAZING VIBE
  • no cons, I'm obsessed with this place

When it snows, this is a hidden gem/under the radar "skier's mountain". Great variety of skiable terrain and a noteworthy lack of concern for "creative route finding" make this a small slice of heaven in a good snow year. If you came to ski you'll get good value for your dollar...If you came to party bring friends or make them fast...Not much going on without a drive to Bethel.

  • A smaller mountain that skis bigger. Lots of variety. Perfect progression of terrain from never-never to expert. Good ski school.
  • If you're looking for nightlife this is not your destination.
