V lyžiarskych strediskách Jasná, Tatranská Lomnica a Štrbské Pleso sa od zimnej sezóny 2018/19 upúšťa od fixných cien skipasov. Odteraz bude ceny jednodňových skipasov určovať „ponuka a dopyt“. Ceny závisia od vyťaženosti strediska v daný deň, od dátumu rezervácie, počasia, ale aj od typu sezóny (hlavná a mimosezóna). Online skipasy sa predávajú už od 19 €, počas Vianoc od 27 € a počas Silvestra od 39 € v stredisku Jasná, resp. počas Vianoc od 25 € a počas Silvestra od 35 € vo Vysokých Tatrách.
