Pic from Sunday at Perfect North. Beautiful Day. Snowed all day Monday while I was there. Rare treat to ski on freshly fallen, natural snow in these parts.

Perfect North is taking advantage of making tons of snow in the cold temps. There are large piles everywhere now all they need tondo is shape it up some & they'll be 5 stars. Today was about as good as it gets here, very little ice & loose powder on top. Now if the weather nstays cold they'll have a great year. Well worth 3.5 hr. drive to ski today.

Had a great time with my 9 yr old today. This is my 3rd year going to perfect north and it's the best coverage I've seen. They've done a great job blowing snow whenever they've had a chance. Crowds were light by late afternoon, no lines by evening. Frigid temps on the lifts up, but didn't bother me skiing down. Had to make my boy take care breaks. The crowds were there for new year's Eve I was told into the morning hours.

Hard Packed
KYSkiMan

PNS has done a good job getting most everything opened up. Today they opened all of West Hills and Deception. All major runs are open now. A little more grooming is all that's needed to shape it up a little. A few icy spots but the weekend should be great. They've got the snow.

Most everything is open and in good shape BUT it's beginning to thin out. With no snowmaking temps for a while u better get up here and enjoy what's left. Snow is a little heavy but not sloppy yet. Well worth the trip. Hats off to PNS for keeping things going ... been a tough winter for snowmaking.

Spring Snow0"

They've done a great job with what they've had to work with the last couple of days. Made snow last 2 nights & yesterday. Most everything is back open with a few thin patches which are easy to avoid. Packed powder with couple of inches loose on top. A few icey spots but not bad. Good carving snow. The bad ... warm weather is back with some rain. Better enjoy this while u can. Well worth the trip. Not bad at all.
