We visit Colorado at least once a year for a getaway with friends and family for a ski vacation. Taking a least one day at Monarch is a must for our crew. It offers a lot of diverse terrain for our entire crew in a manageable setting. Persoanally, I love the tree runs - easy to find, with a nice pitch and well spaced trees. The other thing we love about Monarch is that it is affordable and the staff is super friendly. The crowd is also friendly and are just there to have fun. On that note, our group is more apt to ride at A-Basin than Vail or Breck for the very same reason.
