Zell am See Kaprun Tourismus is offering the six-night Summit Fun & Cosy Alpine Huts package, featuring a tour across the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, from €230 per person.

The package includes six nights' accommodation, including one night at a mountain hut with breathtaking views across the 3000-meter peaks, and a guided summit tour of the 3203-meter Kitzsteinhorn glacier.

Visitors have a choice of accommodation, either a bed and breakfast; a three- or four-star hotel with half-board; or a self-catering apartment. The six-night package is priced at €230 per person for an apartment (excluding meals); €230 in a bed and breakfast; €320 in a three-star hotel; and €374 in a four-star hotel. There is a wide choice of participating bed and breakfasts, hotels, and apartments scattered throughout Zell am See and Kaprun.

The Ice Arena is open on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier from June 26, offering a snow beach with an ice bar, slippery slides, a magic carpet, and a play piste. Summer skiers and boarders can enjoy the wide and varied glacier slopes, mostly intermediate, reaching heights of 3030 meters.

Alpine restaurants on the Kitzsteinhorn's summit offer a good choice of refreshments and snacks with plenty of seating on the spacious sun terraces. The Kitzsteinhorn is situated just one hour's drive from Salzburg.
