As Killington's NOR'BEASTER spring celebration rages on, the beast of the east is looking to take their famously long season out with a bang. With skiing and riding expected into May, there's plenty of time left to hit the hill, which means more calendar dates are filled with celebratory spring events.
Easter weekend is no exception, kicking off with the skiers' favorite pond skim event on April 19. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. at the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars and entry is $10. The event is open to both skiers and riders and limited to the first 100 registrants.
Then wake up Sunday morning with Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. followed by a community breakfast before the kids hunt for treats during the Easter Egg Hunt around the Snowshed and Ramshead Lodges.
