For an end-of-season ski town blowout, no one does it better than Vail Resort. As if warm, sunny weather wasn’t enough to hit the slopes, Spring Back to Vail is packed with free concerts, pond skimming championships, après after-dark parties and swag giveaways for skiers and snowboarders who go at it until the very end.
Spring Back to Vail events are slated for April 11-13, with a pond skimming championship concluding the last day of the season, April 20th. The Spring Back to Vail Expo will fill the Village with vendors and activities from 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
On April 11, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe with opener Dirty Dozen Brass Band will take the stage in Vail Village. And on the 12th, the instrumental electronic rock band STS9 will share the stage with Polish Ambassador.
On closing day, April 20, costumed skiers and snowboarders pond skimming begins at 3 p.m., with Steel Pulse and Bonfire Dub performing a free concert at 4:30 p.m.
All the events are free to the public. For more information, visit Vail’s website.
