We just got back from a week in Jackson Hole and it is my new favorite resort. If you are bored of skiing you need to come here before you give up. Some truly amazing terrain. Don't come here if you are just seeking groomers. They have a couple groomers but this mountain is mostly advanced terrain.
Don't get sucked into spending hours in the tram line. Do it once and get on with your day. Rendezvous bowl is the only thing that you miss if you skip the tram and it's pretty dull anyways. Lots of great skiing off of the other lifts and they didn't have a lift line all week. Don't just stick to marked terrain; explore. The best stuff isn't marked on the trail map.
Stay right in Teton Village. Skip the town of Jackson unless you need groceries. Everyone likes to say that it's a "Cowboy Town" but it isn't. It is like a Disney World version of a cowboy town. Real Cowboys don't spend a lot of time in $30 per plate restaurants.
