Firsthand Reports

Great day at Mount Lacrosse, despite such a bad snow year in WI. With north facing slopes, the high of 62 didn't ruin the snow. Excellent jump line in terrain park. Also, we'll run state championships for ski and snowboard this weekend; excellent courses. Now, Mt. LaCrosse, can't you please get a real parking lot? Visit the asphalt, brick, or cobblestone store.

Spring Snow

With the very warm weather, conditions today were better than you'd think. Ice in morning and ice remained in shade (On Damnation). But even to 5pm with 58 degrees, there were still good runs to go down--sure there were puddles and slush in spots. Sunday should be similar, possibly a little worse.

Spring Snow

Love this place but the warm weather today made the conditions less than ideal. Real slushy and rutted up.

the bop

Sunny enough to soften the flatter areas into slushy granular. Not warm enough to soften anything with any sort of pitch. Was groomed and then rained on, resulting in solid ice corduroy and lots of tree branch debris from the heavy winds. Very tough day.
