We had a group of around 20+ people that drove at least 4 hours from Chicagoland area, and most of us that are intermediate and expert skiers and boarders were disappointed on the way the slopes are laid out. When you get to top of the go down are mostly blacks runs....but they are very short...only about 45 seconds or less....and you are down to the mostly flat or green runs. That is the 90 percent of the resort. The mountain looks like a giant tsunami wave looking from the base...but that's about it. Very steep at the beginning and the rest of the runs goes to mostly green. There are no consistency of the blues and black runs at all. So, overall the ski resort have short runs. We like the way the Devil's Head and Cascade Mt ski resort runs are laid out...they are more consistent on the pitch of the slopes. The food are ok in the cafeteria, they are a little expensive, and the bars gets too crowded because only a couple or few of them, very few lockers with 50c coins needed so you better be ready to change in your vehicle at the parking lots.
