Snow Reporter Comments: 3/03/26 7:30 AM: Good morning, Crystal! We are back to spring-like conditions on the hill and today will be a chillier and cloudier day compared to the last few days. The freezing levels have dropped causing the slushy snow of yesterday to be rock hard this morning, so watch out on off-piste terrain and probably stick to the beautiful groomers out there until solar aspects warm up a tad. Hazards are starting to melt out again, so beware and watch for all ski patrol hazard markings. The cats are out there working miracles, so it is still a great day to come up and get in some fast and smooth groomers instead of working. Have fun and ski safe!XOXO, Indy the Avalanche Dog Fireside Cantina is closed for the day. Terrain Parks: The Discovery Park, Arwine's Jump Line and the new Sudden Drop Park (Lower Arwine's) are open today! Late Monday night into Tuesday, expect clouds to build over the area with light precip beginning in the afternoon/early evening. Freezing levels will soon begin their descent down to 4500’ come Wednesday. With conditions favoring a classic Tahoma block, this will not be a huge snow producer, however, we can hope for 1-3" of accumulation from mid mountain up. Monday Night: Sky Cover: Mostly clear with clouds developing Freezing Elevation: 7500’ and falling 12hr Precip: None Wind Trends: Light SSW Tuesday: Sky Cover: Thickening clouds with light mixed precip Freezing Elevation: 5500’ and falling 12hr Precip: Little to none Wind Trends: moderate SW Tuesday Night: Sky Cover: Snow showers Freezing Elevation: 4500’ 12hr Precip: 1-3” possible Wind Trends: Light to moderate SW Extended: Behind this initial front, WNW flow develops in its wake, encouraging continued cooling with active weather on the horizon.
