Snow Reporter Comments: Thursday May 1 at 7:01 AM 2/9 Lifts Today. The Taxi will spin at 8:30a, The Jet at 9:00a. Good morning, May, we made it. The mountain is bathing in sunshine today, with temps climbing toward 60°F and not a cloud in sight come the afternoon. If you’re heading up, think spring: soft turns, light layers, and maybe even a bucket hat if you're bold enough (we recomend helmets). Just be sure to reapply that SPF, this sun doesn’t mess around. We did lose a few trails yesterday (RIP Kitz Woods, you were too good for this melting world), but we’re holding strong with what remains. There’s still plenty of fun to be had, and a whole lot of corn to harvest. Think “creamed corn in motion”, soft, slushy, and just a little bit chaotic.

Firsthand Report

Amazing snow for late March! Lots of fresh snow made for powder everywhere in the morning and by afternoon some scraped off spots but still great. Finally got to ride the tram too. Lift lines were quite long though for all the upper mountain lifts.
