Great terrain, No lines, Classic Vermont
Out there, Slow Chairlifts,
Had chance to add this to our list this winter. Heard about for many years, but never got it together to get there. We hit it on a weekday the day after a 10" snowfall. We asked the very friendly lift attendant where would he go... He directed us to one of the best groomers ever.. He gave us a "Lift Guided Tour" and we were not dissappointed. We had a great day! There's a lower lodge/parking area and a mid-mountain lodge/parking area. We never got down to the lower lodge area and trails, but I would assume them to be in keeping with the upper part of the mountain, except more beginner/novice oriented.
Also, don't miss the Miss Lyndonville Diner on your way in/out... Worth the stop.
This place should be on "Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives".
Americana at it's best, (not to mention the food!)
Both are good enough to eat!
Worth the trip!
