First-hand Reports

As everyone else is saying, stay up high and there is plenty of fun to be had. Don't come expecting powder and you won't be disappointed. The view from the base is frightening, but there is still plenty of snow in the alpine. And lots of blue sky.

Fun day. Hiked up Flute and found some soft stuff in upper half of bowl. Also, some decent groomers with 1/2" of soft top. However crowds looked like line of ants from afar as they were packed thick on some of these. We found some areas to be solo.

The crocus are up, the bicycles are out, the lower elevation looks like it is April or May. HOWEVER they are making snow thus week and the higher elevations are totally skiable. The sun is out for the next few days. We did fresh Tracks yesterday. Still worth it. Best skiing is in the am. See you up there!
