    backcountry mecca

    Pros: 3000 vertical feet backcountry runs accessible by lift

    Cons: no base area lodging

    snowbasin has as much backcountry as in bounds terrain. backcountry areas are very steep and your sluff follows you down the mountain on the best days. Logged 30 days their in past... Full review

    Pros: Utah snow w/o the crowd

    This is one of the best kept secrets in Utah! A little out of the way from the major resorts but worth it! The city of Ogden is a cool old town... Full review

    Pros: Terrain, snowfall, on slope ammenities

    Pros: all skiable terrain, plenty of steeps, 2 gondolas, huge

    Cons: whiteouts and wind

    the BEST part about snowbasin is that there are no on hill condos or hotels. that means those who can get up and drive get front row parking, first gondola, and first... Full review
