Firsthand Reports

Powder Mountain +

Anyone notice the funky stuff going on the webcam last Saturday night 10/03/15 I wonder if Mufon has been out to take a look. Ha ha

I love ripping through Alta on my snowboard (from Snowbird) and having patrol chase me into the woods, where I lose them. Cha-ching!!

1 day(s) ago - Alta Ski Area.

Nah, it's all sick 50°+ chutes with great snow and super cool people. The heli op also takes you across the valley to AK-like terrain! Snowbird's Cirque is pretty overrated.

1 day(s) ago - Snowbird.

I suppose if skiing off a cliff is your idea of a good time than Silverton is the mountain for you. I'll stick with the Bird.

3 day(s) ago - Snowbird.

Snowbird +

Eyeing inbounds lines @ Silverton. The Bird's good, but Silverton takes it by far for extreme skiing in the lower 48.
