Saturday was cold but good. The new snow made a lot of difference. Towards the end of the day things got a bit icy between moguls.

Conditions have left the hill very hard packed and with a few icy patches. Hill is boring in these conditions. A bit like skiing on a hill covered in plywood. The two quad detachables run well but a modest skate is required to get between lifts when at the bottom. The 'shuttle' is not worth the wait. The roads to the hill are really stressed by this past winter. Keep your eyes on the pavement or you could lose a wheel or the whole car! Would rather have driven to Calabogie.

I was at Marie on Friday, both peaks are open and no lines. Great day at the hill, hard pack with a dusting on top.
