can get crowded, Stolen Gear :(

Full review

Although Whitetail is one of the closest resorts from DC Its pretty Average The Cons of skiing at whitetail - Can get EXTREMELY crowded on weekends and holidays (I think the resort is just TOO small for all the people that are expected to go there each year?!?!) -A huge draw-back is stolen gear!! MY gear was stolen and 2 months later my friend's new snowboard tht he got for xmas got stollen To put it to you right now how whitetail does rental/gear check-in Here's a senario You've been skiing all morning and you get really hungry all the sudden you head towards the main lodge planning where to put your gear -Theres the Ski rack, which, for some, sounds like a great way to drop the gear and get the food and beat the cafeteria rush--->but get your gear stolen :( ...or do the Check-in Which will render your gear safe for your entire lunch, but theirs always a LONG line, and the staff with the Blackberrys and the barcodes and what not trying to check you in AND ON TOP OF THAT THE CAFETERIA IS WAAAAAAAAY TOO SMALL ...but they have a KILLER terrain park to end on a good note :)
