Hidden Valley is a great resort for beginners to intermediates. The rental equipment is top notch. Staff very helpful. For the most part, it is usually not very crowded. Night skiing is the best time to get away from the crowds. A short trip from Pittsburgh, which makes it nice to head to the slopes when fresh snow is in the forecast. They have state of the art snowmaking equipment. If you are looking for a resort to take the family, learn to ski, or brush up on your skills, then Hidden Valley is for you. It is my opinion that for the money, Hidden Valley is the best bang for the bucks.
