They need more security snd maintenance people working!!! And they should not allow music to be blasting in the cafeteria, it’s not nice for all other families. People are leaving because they’re annoyed. Camelback ski is going bad, I have been coming here since I was 10 years old I’m 34 years old now.
Fun ski trails and good variety of trails
Lifts are too long!! The cafeteria allows customers to blast music so everyone is has to suffer listening to loud techno music!! It’s really not relaxing and there’s no security to manage this.

We had a party of 8 today for snow tubing. Their pricing was $70 per person. With the lines today we were only able to go down the hill 2 times. The first time one of us stopped half way down the hill and had to walk the rest of the way. They also had the snow machines on blowing in our faces while waiting an hour to go down the hill. It was a terrible experience, waste of money and I would never go there for snow tubing again.
Snow tubing, expensive, long lines.

Been going to camelback for over 40 yrs., and I can safely say it will be the last time I go skiing there. They just raised the early season passes for 2022-2023 season to $629.00. That’s up a hundred bucks from last year. Between the parking, lunch, and drinks, it’s no longer enjoyable being bleed dry every time I go up there. You can thank the new ownership for that.
Descent snow conditions in the morning only
Disgustingly overpriced

The Overview is out of date on parking fees. Prices to park are $12, up to a whopping $50 on the weekend, on top of the expensive ticket price. Crowded lift lines, with lots of newbies skiing and boarding recklessly. The "resort hotel" and water park are the new priority at Camelback, and snow sports are now low, low, low on the list. So sad, it used to be a well managed place, now greed rules the day. Spend your hard earned $ elsewhere - plenty of choices nearby.

It took more than 2 hours to buy tickets and rent the ski equipments. I even had to wait for the equipment return. WTF. Parking wasn’t free and everything was so price. Which I don’t care if the service was better than horrible.
Under staff. Technical problems. Extremely slow for purchasing ticket and renting equipments.

Overall disappointed. I have never been to a ski resort where you have to pay for all day parking and the lift lines were outrageous. Only silver lining was that they had nice outdoor seating at their restaurants. In terms of the mountain, everything was scaled up. Blues should be greens, double blacks should be blacks etc. My main complaints were their COVID protocols WHICH WERE NONEXISTENT. I have been to a couple of ski resorts in the area this year. Every resort had enhanced sanitizing stations throughout the resort, easily accessible maps, even one way markers inside the lodge for rentals etc. and of course a mask policy that was enforced to make everyone feel safe. Camelback resort had not a SINGLE bottle of hand sanitizer in the lodges or common areas, no digital maps, no one way markers and let me tell you about how they weren't enforcing masks.. I'd say half the people in the EXTREMELY long lift lines had masks on. Most other had a piece of cloth that could cover their face if a ski patrol member were to walk by but would disappear once they walked past. The employees loading the lifts and managing crowds DIDN'T SAY A WORD TO ANYONE about masks. I had expected to see more passes pulled for this but it didn't seem like anyone cared. I was so enraged I started calling people out in the lodge for not wearing them. It's a procedure to keep everyone safe yet it seemed like everyone treated it as a vacation where they didn't have to worry. And there was no staff enforcing. Don't waste your money or your safety..

After a banner season with tons of natural snow, you would expect decent conditions. Not so. They pack down the snow so hard that it feels like concrete with no powder left to dig into, and God help you if you fall. They used to have good grooming before the new owners took over but now they haven't got a clue or they simply don't care.
Easy to get back on Rte 80 when leaving early

I live in Northern NJ. Camelback used to be my home slope for many years, but not anymore. Here is why: Camelback has a prime parking close to the mountain that was always paid and a general parking that s somewhat farther, which was free. This season I parked at the general parking as usual and I saw the sign that general parking is now paid. Directions at the sign said to go to the website and pay online. Well, that was upsetting, but I followed instructions to pay, thinking that the amount would be reasonable. The app, however told me that general parking at Camelback is now $30 (thirty dollars!!!). Adult weekday lift ticket costs $60, and charging 50% of that amount for parking is simply insane. I understand that COVID hit the business with additional expenses, but charging a 50% on top of lift ticket via the backdoor scheme is the utmost greed that should not be rewarded. I asked a Camelback staff member about the charge and he said "Parking is managed by a separate company, we have nothing to do with that". So let me get it straight. Camelback likely pays half of the parking charge to the other company that now collects parking fees. Camelback could have said "Look guys, the business is hurting because of COVID and we are forced to raise lift tickets by $15". Instead, they've decided to charge the hidden fee of $30 and waste half of that on hiring a parking fee processing company. An unsuspected skier who purchases a lift ticket online now faces a dilemma at Camelback mountain – cough up additional $30 or turn back. What Camelback did is an utmost greed and stupidity and this behavior should not be rewarded. I've never been to another mountain that charges for parking, let alone 50% of the lift ticket. I’m never going back to Camelback. I choose to drive an extra 30 minutes to another mountain (which is also bigger than Camelback) than let myself being robbed in the daylight. RIP Camelback.

I took my husband and 2 girls. The bill was 350.00 with my supposed military discount. I thought it costs that much to ski because I do not go. He was outraged, because just lift tickets alone are supposed to be half during the week and they must not have given me that or any discount because it would have been cheaper if we would have done it online. And she gave me no receipt either, or I would have went back to get my money back.
Looks nice
Does not give discount like they say for military
