Blue Mountain Overview

Region Wide Comparison

Area Profile

Blue Mountain is one of the Pocono’s premiere skiing and snowboarding destinations. Blue has the highest vertical in Pa. with 34 trails for all abilities including three slopes near to or over a mile long.

Nightmare, a thrilling 900-foot-long double diamond slope of steeps and turns and Central Park, our fifth terrain park, are new for the 2009-10 season. Blue Mountain's Park Crew will be bringing the “street right to you” on our slopes, with the addition of two brand new one-of-a- kind stair sets and other street related elements, all from Snow Grind.

Blue’s nine lifts, including a high-speed detachable quad and the region's only high-speed detachable six-passenger lift, lets customers spend more time on the slopes and less in the lift lines.  Blue Mountain has 100 percent snowmaking and 100 percent lighting for evening fun.

The Tubing Park has 19 runs and 3 lifts to keep you sliding all day and night.  Blue Mountain offers two full service lodges to meet your every skiing, riding, and dinning need.  New for the 2009-2010 season are two outdoor courtyards featuring a variety of food choices, including outdoor grilling, along with fire pits to keep you warm while dining outdoors.

There are special rates available for groups of 15 or more. Blue is less than a tank of gas away as they are the closest major ski resort to Philadelphia, Wilmington, and many parts of the New York and New Jersey region.
