Ontario skiers and snowboarders have an array of winter sports options thanks to ski resorts located near the its provincial capital city of Toronto, Canada’s capital of Ottawa and even as far as northern Ontario.

Blue Mountain, Ontario’s largest ski resort, and Mount St. Louis Moonstone are both a quick two-hour trip north from Toronto. There are also some smaller ski resorts located just outside of the city such as Hidden Valley Ski Resort and Horseshoe Resort.

Calabogie Peaks Resort is located near the Canadian Capital city of Ottawa, in Eastern Ontario. Farther to the West in Thunder Bay, located on the Western shore of Lake Superior sits Loch Lomond Ski Area.
