The centre for slalom and giant slalom alpine events at the Lillehammer Olympics, and linked into a remarkable network of cross-country trails. Snowmaking and tuition in all disciplines available. Dedicated snowboarding area and children's snow play area (ages 4 - 12). Night skiing until 8pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Lillehammer is 15km (nine miles) away. The designated snowboard-area features a really-big big jump, half pipe, quarter pipe, fun box and slide.

    Greeted by Thaw

    Pros: Excellent lifts, ski hire and lockers, close proximity to hotels
    Cons: Icy pavements and slopes, sky high prices for drinks
