Downhill terrain, vertical, no wait lines, views
After being to whiteface twice know I must say this mountain rocks. Its got an amazing amount of vertical for an east coast resort. I've never encountered ice at whiteface, maybe its because I've gone in early march every year. The slopes are on the steep sides of things, especially lookout below with its truck sized moguls. The terrain park was decent and they've done a good job in recent years at making it better. The vibe of the resort is alot better then any vermont resort. The majority of skiers and boarders here are hardcore and not stuck up rich folks who are more interested in the cuisine then the slopes. Theres not much to do in town, but a ton to do at the olympic facilities.
