Terrain Parks, Proximity to NYC, Triple Play Pass
Horrible Ice, Constant Overcrowding, Young clowns EVERYWHERE

Full review

SO me and my buddies live on LI, minutes from NYC and Mountain Creek formerly Vernon Valley is the closest mountain for us. Its great if you like a relativley short drive (for a skii mountain), hitting terrain parks (south mountain is STRICTLY parks), and people blazing trees and drinking every chairlift up, the south mountain is a constant party, LOL. The bad on the other hand is overwhelming, its DISGUSTINGLY overcrowded no matter when you go, Ice EVERYWHERE (especially on the landings of the jumps), Sub-Par terrain park upkeep (all they do is focus on the rails and nothing else), did I mention its so overcrowded that its eerily similar to NYC Rush hour traffic, the lifts are a MESS..... At least if you park on South Mountain its little to no walk to the lift. Oh yea to access the South Mountain you MUST go inside the lodge and take the 'park pass quiz' its free and takes 2mins but you have to do it to get on the lifts at that peak. If you go check out the 'Triple Play Pass' its 3 lift tickets for $90, so it's def the bigest draw for 'The Creek'...... Cant wait to go Sugarbush next week and hit a REAL Mountain
