Snow Reporter Comments

(3/26 @ 6am) The forecast looks like a mixed bag today, as we may see various forms of precipitation along the way, but there are a few positives as well. As of 6am, it's already 30 degrees on the summit and we're expecting the mercury to reach the mid-40s today. Also, that mixed bag of precip is predicted to turn into a winter grab bag of powder overnight, with anywhere from 3-9" possible by Friday morning. In addition, all lift tickets are just 2-for-$74 for today.

Thursday - We're scheduled to open at 9am with 4 lifts and all 81 trails, plus the Mittersill terrain (DJ's Tramline, Kinsman Glade and Middle Hardscrabble may open late). Please note that the Tram is only open on March 28 & 29, and then closes for the season. Also, note that the Mittersill Double operates on weekends only through April 5th, while the Mittersill terrain remains open during midweek (see the lift report for a complete lift schedule). You can expect variable surface conditions, with loose granular snow in the higher elevations and softer snow towards the base area, but be aware that things will change with the predicted forecast.. Race training will be taking place on Turnpike, which remains open to the public.
