Lost Trail is more bang for your buck

Pros: Good food, Lots of powder, and Cheap!

Cons: Not many challenging runs.

great snow area

Pros: Consistent great snow. Nice variety of terrain for mixed level of skiers.

Cons: The newer terrain is too mild and the lift there is very, very slow.

Diesel power never fails

Pros: Snow, inexpensive, remote

Cons: vertical, remote, closed m-w, rope tow

Lost trail is one of the few remaining old time ski areas left. Lift tickets are less than 35 bucks and you can usually get lodging and lift ticket packages at nearby... Full review

Cons: slow lifts
