Despite lack of early snow (which was lacking across much of the country) Big Powderhorn's skiing conditions were great. Some of the other local ski hills boasted having their runs all open earlier but were spotty and icy and skiing wasn't nearly as good. Grooming was great as always. The new beginner area was a big hit with the first time skiers in our family this winter. The terrain parks saw a lot of imporvement this season as well. Hope the tubing returns as the new lodge area is now located where the tubing used to be. Night skiing was fun and hope another run or two get lit. The new Lodge was accomodating and friendly and the food and service were very good. Caribou food was great as well. Very family friendly!
