    Pros: Baller Terrain parks

    Cons: old/slow lifts

    I love the terrain parks at Butternut, its nice that they make you have a pass specifically for the park so that in turn keeps out most amateurs that are not willing... Full review

    Nice place to stretch your legs

    Pros: Good job on early season snowmaking

    Cons: Uninspired terrain

    Went on an early season warmup day. They had more open with better cover than all but a few areas in Northern New England. The hill itself is pretty straightforward, really suited... Full review

    Butternut Rocks

    Pros: Great trails; fun terrain park; huge lodge; well-kept

    Cons: little far to travel for us in CT; closes too early. No night skiing.
