    Pros: Friendly staff, Parking, Night riding, Cheap tickets

    Cons: Icy slopes, not-so-friendly massachusetts visitors

    Skicatter Loves Shawnee

    Pros: Great Snow! Awesome Scenery!

    Pros: Close to Portland, family friendly

    Cons: Ice base - Quintessential early New England skiing

    Our first visit to Shawnee. The base as of early Jan 09 was ice with blown snow cover. By mid day is was easier to find ice than powder. That should change... Full review
