A great resort all around
Pros: MJ mountain is the absolute best

Mary Jane makes it worthwhile
Pros: Woods skiing, few crowds
Cons: Parking, hard to get to
Mary Jane has some of the best woods skiing in Colorado (Kinnikinick is my personal favorite), and the snow lasts in there for a long time. The Panorama lift is 6-person, so... Full review

Great resort
Pros: Terrain, snowfall, location
Cons: crowds on weekends, parking situation, no ski train anymore
Definately visit winter park if you are in and around Denver. It is pretty much the closest resort to downtown, although you could probably successfully argue that Loveland takes less time to... Full review
