Full review

Overall, WP/Mary Jane offers some of the best skiing/riding in Colorado and the US. Groomed trails for all levels, long & steep bump runs at the Jane, and incredible powder/tree skiing from the bowls make this a great resort. Granted, as some of the reviews mention, there are some flat sections in WP and some very challenging bump runs at the Jane, but closely checking the trail maps will help you avoid the areas you don't want to ski (and find those you do). This year (2007/2008), Intrawest added a new six pack chair at Mary Jane that starts near the base on goes to the top of Parsenn bowl. The chair provides almost 3000 ft. of vertical, is the highest six pack chair in North America, and allows intermediate/advanced skiers access to fantastic gladed tree runs - totally awesome on a powder day. Apres ski has been lacking at WP, but the new resort that Intrawest is building should definitely improve that. BruceL
