If your an avid boarder, this place is for you. Not much steeps except at the seven sisters runs when it's open. Pretty good black skiing on the other side of I-70 though. It's usually always windy a Loveland. They get a lot of snow too. Stay away from the valley area unless you are a beginner or you have small ones with you. It's a mom and pop operation and the staff are really friendly and the food is cheaper than most. They also have an excellent gift shop. Spring skiing can be a bit tricky on clear days, since the resort faces east and the sun turns the snow into applesauce in minutes. If your coming from Denver, pay attention to the highway signs. If it says Loveland pass is closed change your plans and go to Loveland instead. You won't regret it and you'll be home in time to watch the second half.
