less crowded, nice glades, great ridgeline via hike
amenities not the best
While most mountains in the Rockies are accessible to all skill-levels, to me, Loveland pulls it off with the best of them. You can cruise on the groomers, or hike for hours in search of fresh tracks even days after a storm. Don't mind the [frequent] sound of avalanche detonations going off, and don't be surprised by how very close to the road you can ride... you'll eventually see what all the locals are raving about.
