Ok so this was my 1st time skiing in Colorado. I'm a hard core cyclist but an intermediate to above skier. The slope at Copper and the amount of skiing their is great. We had purchased Early bird tickets that a friend bought at Albertson's and had expired on Dec 21 or Nov 21 forget which. They did give us the $50 credit for a full day pass or a partial day pass. We skied at Snowmass also while on this trip and the only complaint I have about Copper is their youth pricing stops at age 13. Snowmass pricing is if you have college ID with you youth pass is up to 24 with that or 17 without. Since both resorts are about the same quality I would ski at Snowmass next time. We found the snow conditions better at Snowmass packed powder versus icy conditons at Copper. The mess on Dec 30 when I-70 was closed going to Denver was a nightmare. It took us 1 hr. to get from the parkking lot to the I-70 westbound to Vail which was about a 1/2 mile drive. They kept emptying the lower lot and not directing any traffic from the upper lot. All in all I guess they did try to do the best they could with a very bad situation. With both slopes being so equal we would have skied Snowmass all 4 days had we not already purchsased tickets for Copper before the trip. I have no complaints on the skiing there only the pricing system gives us a break there please..............LarryB Newburg Pa. BTW I don't know what Apres Ski is
