Visited Copper in Jan 07 after reading previous reviews. As a group of 8 from the UK we have several levels and a mixture of boarders and skiers. The mountain was superb with short lift lines, quick lifts and varied terrain to suit all. The food on the mountain was ok, cheap by uk standards (don't you love the strong pound) Service was ok, but having previously visited Winter Park, the service needs to improve. Do your shoping out of town for food if you self-cater, in town it can be a bit expensive, go for the hire car if flying from the UK, better than shopping by bus, you can also visit Winter Park for the day also as well as shopping in Silverthorne...good for a bargain...that strong pound again!! (new timberland boots for £35!!)
All in all a good resort to visit, but beware, it can get VERY cold if your only usted to europe..and do NOT go for accomodation with the bed settee, unless you want to spend the week sleeping on the floor, they are the most uncomfortable thing to sleep on in the world!!
